God’s glory. What is it? I say it is an explosion of his beauty – an outcome of His expression through us as we transform into His image.
At first, we are like unexploded bombs, unable to detonate His glory because of the sin in our lives and our desire for worldly things. Our attention is on those things so we don’t hear God or, if we do, we may deliberately ignore Him.
In our dormant state, we have no revelation of the power that He has in our lives, nor of the beauty that He will bring to them through our fellowship and communion with Him.
‘Earnestly direct your attention to Me, lest you drift away,” warns God. “Exhort and admonish each other every day so that you aren’t hardened by and deceived by your sin.”
“Stop what you’re doing and understand that I am the only One who can heal you and make you whole,“ said God. “I‘m the only One who can take your dark places and make them explode with My glory,” He said. “I will be exalted among the nations and in all the earth!“
Stillness before God and listening. The ingredients for God’s explosion of glory begin to take shape and grow.
What did God place in me that needs to be revealed –something so bright that people within my sphere of influence instantly recognize God.
Within each of us are gifts waiting to be exposed. Music, art, words – all creative and meant to be opened. The Holy Spirit is our instruction booklet, guiding us in the explosion of His glory.
