What if …
Would our God-given gifts be magnified if we gave up white noise¾ TV, internet and video games¾ a kind of mind-numbing anesthetic that keeps us bound, similar to those bound to the movie’s Matrix? Would we be better artists, writer, singers and craftsman? Would we churn out masterpieces, life-giving songs and beautiful creations?
Would our thoughts also change, with our brains working overtime to reconcile to God’s Word a constant stream of new ideas, ponderings and opinions.
Would we assume ownership of our own thought-life, settled through our own brooding, rather than just adopting the attitudes of those around us?
Would we be better with each other, more loving and considerate as husbands and wives, family members and friends?
Think about your dalliance with the dull buzz and consider how you might change as a result of your new freedom.
