“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:2
He says I can live beyond the constraints of my own making.
His plans for me are far greater, more vast, than I can ever imagine.
His hope for me is that I would bust wide — freeing myself from my narrow vision and open myself to all the possibilities he has waiting for me.
Walking with him is not bondage, like some people think.
He said, I have come to set the captives free, I have come to set you free.
I know I have limited myself to a weak and conformed vision for my life.
He says, test me. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
I am free to taste limitless adventure — if only I believe, step out and apprehend the life he has waiting.
Bottomline, God knows the undiscovered gifts that lay deep, resident in me.
But I must be the one to uncover them, to test his promises, to be transformed.
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed,” Luke 4:18
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” 2 Corinthians 3:17
